Including iron, cast iron, steel, wrought iron, scrap cars, and welcome domestic goods from large home appliances such as washing machines, dryers and ovens to small goods eg toasters, power tools.

Non-ferrous Metals

Non-ferrous metals are used because of desirable properties such as low weight (e.g. aluminium), higher conductivity (e.g. copper), non-magnetic property or resistance to corrosion (e.g. zinc).

Precious Metals

Including naturally occurring chemical elements that are both rare and high in value, a lot of precious metals are used in a lot of electrical equipment.

Weighbridge

We operate two digital Weighbridges at our site. The 50 tonne Weighbridge is designed to be used for large heavy loads of ferrous metals. The smaller 6 tonne scales are used for smaller amounts and non-ferrous metals.
